[ Upstream commita7ed3a1120] The SPI "hard" controller in PolarFire SoC has eight CS lines, but only one CS line is wired. When the 'num-cs' property is not specified in the device tree, the driver defaults to the MAX_CS value, which has been fixed to 1 to match the hardware configuration; however, when the 'num-cs' property is explicitly defined in the device tree, it overrides the default value. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
