commit1f3730fd9eupstream. Regions split function ('damon_split_region_at()') is called at the beginning of an aggregation interval, and when DAMOS applying the actions and charging quota. Because 'nr_accesses' fields of all regions are reset at the beginning of each aggregation interval, and DAMOS was applying the action at the end of each aggregation interval, there was no need to copy the 'nr_accesses' field to the split-out region. However, commit42f994b714("mm/damon/core: implement scheme-specific apply interval") made DAMOS applies action on its own timing interval. Hence, 'nr_accesses' should also copied to split-out regions, but the commit didn't. Fix it by copying it. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
