plan-mode contributes the RFC's complete double-event example: command/run
records named plan set the wanted target (off -> false, else true),
plan/mode commits and clears it, and view derives {active, pending}.
Pending is thereby a pure replay quantity recovered from the log alone.
The plan key merges into SessionProjectionMap from src/types.ts, served
through the new ./types and ./client outlets (session-title template);
compositions without the registry are unaffected.
The Open-local-folder flow now branches on the Host's advertised picker
interaction (host.describe.directoryPicker, read per menu open; unknown
kinds hide the entry): dialog keeps the native-chooser flow, and browse
opens the new in-app directory browser (figma Harness 802-56979) —
breadcrumbs rooted at a localized Home crumb, a click-to-edit path zone
right of the crumbs, host-flagged hidden entries filtered client-side,
an inline New-folder row, and Open adopting the listed directory
through the existing workspace-creation error surface. Dialog copy is
localized (ctx.locale, namespace 'workspace'); the plugin re-registers
its entries on locale/change.
apps/cli flips the composed backend from -dialog to -browse, so the
picker works for remote deployments out of the box; -dialog stays a
composable alternative. The workspace-management e2e drops its native
picker monkey-patch and drives the real modal end-to-end via the
path-edit affordance.
The web GUI's folder picking was hardwired to one interaction: a native
OS chooser compiled into the gateway, unusable for remote deployments
and swappable only by editing apiproxy source.
Directory picking becomes a three-package capability seam in
packages/host: ctx.directoryPicker returns a discriminated capability —
dialog (the extracted native chooser; host-display only) or browse
(new: one-level listing + child creation over Node stdlib, hidden flags
host-stamped, symlinks followed, ancestry crumbs; remote-capable). The
gateway injects the seam, advertises the kind via
host.describe.directoryPicker, serves host.listDirectory /
host.createDirectory under browse, and answers
directory-picker-unavailable across kinds. cordis.yml is the swap
point; apps/cli keeps dialog mounted, so behavior is unchanged until
the in-app browser PR flips the default. The connection fixture serves
a deterministic browse tree; WorkspacesService gains the browse calls
the browser UI will drive. Decision record:

The bash tool already declares the `card: 'terminal'` render intent for
both its call and its result, and host/connection/runtime already deliver
it to the browser as callView/resultView. The Web client ignored it:
rows derived from raw args, and the details panel flattened every tool's
content into one soft-wrapping `<pre>`. Column-aligned output folded into
a paragraph and a long listing stretched the panel without bound.
`TerminalBlock` (ui-primitives) renders a command as a terminal surface:
a shortened-cwd prompt line, output at `white-space: pre` in a
horizontally scrolling box, a head/tail height cap with an expand
control, an exit-code/signal status pill, and a copy control for the raw
output. ANSI SGR runs are parsed with `anser` and resolved onto `--dsw-*`
theme tokens, with literal rgb kept for values the design system has no
token for. Geometry and fonts mirror CodeBlock; the clipboard write both
need moved into a package-internal `clipboard.ts`.
Both Web render sites for a bash call consume the intent through one
derivation (`terminal-card-model.ts`), so they cannot disagree about a
command, its cwd, or its exit status: the keyed BashRow carries the card
resident below its summary row, and the render-site fallback row keeps it
behind its existing expand control. Rows cap at 8 lines against the
panel's 16.
Inline output in the chat row reverses this package's stated
no-inline-output convention, on the owner's explicit decision; the Agent
Note records the reversal and its bound.
Tests: TerminalBlock/ansi/clipboard unit specs, ui-conversation wiring
specs at every render site, a built-client-graph snapshot covering both
chat-row shapes, and a real-browser e2e asserting the no-wrap layout and
the page's own Clipboard API.
The only browser-trust guard covered host.pickDirectory, while the
consequential methods (session.prompt drives bash) accepted any Host —
open to DNS rebinding, where a rebound page reads and writes the API as
if same-origin and only the Host header betrays the attacker's domain.
The pickDirectory-specific loopback guard becomes a prefix-wide fence:
Host must be loopback or an exact host[:port] from the new trustedHosts
config, an attached Origin must equal that authority, and explicit
cross-site markers are refused; requests without browser markers (curl,
tests, native clients) pass, because without a browser there is no
confused deputy. The loopback-socket check is dropped — binding policy
expresses reachability, and the fence is not an auth layer. The Agent
Note records the full threat model and the alternatives.
The master merge left the generated catalogs/module graph stale, the
python runtime closure missing dsh-session-projection (now reached
through session-title and tool-todo), and apiproxy holding a dead
session-title dependency (the bespoke title frame is retired). The four
files the merge pushed under the per-file coverage floor (commands
executor + invariant, projection registry drive tails, TUI) join the
existing TODO(gui) deferral block per the GUI-lane policy; the remaining
coverage-run failures reproduce identically on pure origin/master
(environment-bound suites: sdk process exit, TUI PTY timing, workflow
worker timing, title loader slow-boot) and are not this branch's debt.
commandId crosses three boundaries (session log, wire admission response,
client flow pairing), so per the branded-id rule it becomes
Branded<'CommandId'>, declared in a new pure @deepseek-ai/dsh-commands/brand
outlet (the dsh-llm/brand shape: type + constructor, no Context merges, so
wire and client programs can name it without loading the host plugin). The
event payloads, CommandExecution, and the executor mint carry the brand; the
wire schema gains commandIdSchema as the domain's single brand-cast point
(the approvals precedent); CommandNode and the fixture's fabrication cast
follow type-only.
The group's convention is package suffix == provider default
(subagent-acp/'acp', subagent-spawn/'spawn', subagent-fork/'fork'), and the
provider default became dsh-sdk in the last review round — so the package
follows: @deepseek-ai/dsh-subagent-dsh-sdk at
packages/subagent/subagent-dsh-sdk, plugin name subagent-dsh-sdk,
diagnostics prefixed subagent-dsh-sdk:. The dsh echo has precedent
(dsh-llm-deepseek). Directory, fixture path, knip/tsconfig/examples
registrations, catalogs, READMEs (en+zh), and the Agent Note follow; the
sdk-client dispose ladder moves to its own module (src/dispose.ts) with the
deterministic FakeChild tier tests restored alongside it.
Master's #660 replaced dsh-subagent-subprocess with the dsh-subprocess
capability seam (ctx.subprocess + scrubbedParentEnv, tree-scoped teardown)
and moved subagent-acp onto it. Convergence for this branch's packages:
- The shared out-of-process provider vocabulary this branch had grown in
the deleted library (NO_START_CAPABILITIES, assertPositiveFinite, cwd
resolution, settleRunResult, subprocessRunHandle) moves into the subagent
seam package as out-of-process.ts — it enforces subagent-seam contracts,
not process mechanics, and both out-of-process backends now import it
from there (subagent-acp keeps master's shape otherwise).
- subagent-sdk spawns THROUGH the SDK client (the subprocess README's
documented exception for SDK-managed transports) and now applies the
seam's scrubbedParentEnv() + explicit-env merge in place of the deleted
buildChildEnv.
- sdk-client inlines the EOF→SIGTERM→SIGKILL ladder as private helpers (it
runs outside any harness context, so it cannot ride ctx.subprocess).
- The child harness fixture gains the now-required dsh-subprocess-local
entry for bash-local; the fixture cordis.yml keeps exercising the
shipped provider default.
Resolutions: regenerate the conflicted generated docs (cordis services
catalog, event-producer-consumer, module-graph); take master's
packages/README pair and re-insert the telemetry row on both sides;
re-record the README and session-doc translation pairs.
Consolidates the personal dsh-tui customizations (module split into
components/session/extension, prompt template + running-glyph indicator,
copyable transcript, tool-card headers, timing placement, XML tool output,
status/footer rework) and ports upstream's model reasoning-effort selector
(Shift+Tab effort cycling, effort-aware /model, footer, and /status) onto
the personal module layout.
Keep restore-only and self-hosted stores outside pnpm/action-setup's replaceable install directory, resolving the configured path for every paired cache. Pin Yarn 4 for the generated-project e2e so runner images without Corepack do not fall back to Yarn Classic, and update the bilingual decision record.
