The background-task change repeated its lifecycle design across implemented RFCs, package READMEs, JSDoc, test commentary, and model-visible schemas. That repetition obscured the contracts that maintainers must preserve and added avoidable prompt tokens.
Rewrite the implemented RFCs around the current design, keep authorization, exact-owner cleanup, wait/abort ordering, producer quiescence, and teardown-failure guarantees at their owning surfaces, and remove peer surveys, review history, control-flow narration, and emphatic restatement.
Shorten the task and subagent schema wording, synchronize the bilingual tool cookbook, and regenerate the config, service, RFC, tool, and replay snapshot derivatives. Runtime behavior is unchanged; test edits update prose-only assertions and descriptions.
Bring PR #219 onto current master before re-evaluating review findings so fixes are tested against the code that would actually land.
Resolve generated catalogs by regeneration, preserve the new ACP tool-schema sidecar format while refreshing affected snapshots keylessly, and update the newly paired Chinese adding-a-tool document to match the background-task guidance. This keeps generated and bilingual artifacts authoritative instead of choosing one conflict side blindly.
The executable golden proves the packaged VFS and Python SDK boundary, but it does not pin the editor-facing ACP updates, and the existing ACP scenarios exercised Code Mode, subagents, and workflows only as separate stories.
Add a dedicated both-mode replay composition that mounts a Cordis marker, inspects it through a real Code Mode worker dispatch, runs a direct spawn child and a workflow-owned spawn child, then unmounts the marker. Commit normalized ACP frames, parent and child logs, and the composition-specific request-header pin.
Use cordis_inspect as the Code Mode sub-dispatch instead of registering another dynamic tool: the executable snapshot already owns tool-set mutation and header-delta coverage, while this keeps the ACP header contract stable and focuses the new golden on transport presentation and cross-feature composition.
