**A hand-declared route must not offer a reasoning effort.** The earlier
commit read the create card's missing control as drift and added one. It
is the other way round: such a model has no reasoning capability — pi-ai's
installed catalog is what supplies one, and it ships nothing under the
route — so `resolveModel` throws UNSUPPORTED_REASONING_EFFORT for every
model on it and the whole provider drops out of the picker. Verified
against the adapter, not inferred. The create card no longer offers it and
the editor withholds it on the directory's `declared` bit, which is the
real bug: that control has always been wrong for these routes.
**A blocked composer locked the way out of the block.** Reusing the
no-workspace inert posture disabled the model seat along with everything
else, so the bar asked for a model while preventing the one control that
picks one. A block now rides its own `blocked` owner prop: the textarea,
send, commands, plan seat, and access chip all lock, and the model seat
alone stays live.
**A Provider ID could derive an illegal credential reference.** The card
accepted a digit-leading id, whose derived `123_API_KEY` then failed at
the credential seam with a raw regular expression the user cannot act on.
The id must now start with a letter, and a test pins the relation between
the two rules rather than the regex.
A default naming a route the Models page has since removed left the
composer saying 选择模型 while the input still accepted a message, which
then failed inside the adapter mid-turn.
`session.prompt` now refuses with `model-unavailable` before opening a
turn. That is the enforcement boundary: the method stays callable no
matter what a client disables. `session.models` reports the same fact as
`routable`, and ui-model pushes a block through the new
`ctx.conversation.blocks` registry so the bar renders the disabled
textarea it already renders without a workspace, carrying the blocker's
own reason. The push direction is forced — ui-model already depends on
ui-conversation, so ui-conversation cannot read it back.
The gate is `routable`, not "matches no advertised group": catalog
membership is advisory, so a route serving a model it stopped advertising
is missing from the groups yet perfectly usable, and `null` before the
first load never blocks so a slow Host cannot lock a working composer.
The scaffold gains a route-only adapter for fixture-less keyless
scenarios. Registering zero providers is a test artifact — every product
composition mounts one — and the goldens that froze the seat's fallback
label now show the model those scenarios actually route to.
The mount fixture always listed the session, so the case named "no list
summary" actually exercised a row proving non-blank. An omitSummaryRow
option drops the row, and the three cases now pin blank:false, an absent
row, and the summary-proven blank open.
The mount helper's 4th positional argument becomes an options object so a
test can set the session list row's blank flag independently of the
conversation snapshot's; the two new cases cover both branches of the
settling condition.
Public snapshot state stays in the store engine's plain-data vocabulary
(immer drafts reject Sets without the MapSet plugin, which stays off):
manager/service/contract carry readonly SessionId[] in Host order, and
the tree derivations build their own transient Set — the
expandedProjects pattern. Membership-unchanged installs still keep the
array reference for Object.is short-circuits.
WorkspaceListState gains archivedSessionIds (ReadonlySet, replaced only
on membership change), installed as full snapshots from the list
baseline, the unary echo, and the changed frame. Archiving the current
session clears the selection into the New Session view state. Test
doubles (test-runtime, fake APIs, fixture client) follow the widened
IWorkspaces/IApiClient faces.
The seat's height publisher needs a ResizeObserver stub in every spec that
renders ConversationRoot (jsdom has none), and the two branch-tail StatsLine
assertions move to the grouped detail-row output.
Replace the surface-ordered fold with a log-ordered human transcript:
append-origin surface events at their own log positions plus one marker per
landed compaction checkpoint. Command folding, the tool-call index, and the
rev-keyed memo carry over unchanged.
Removes foldDegraded, the padding sentinels, baseSeq, and degradedSeqs() --
they existed only to satisfy the core fold's seq === index assertion. That
also closes the pagination hole A1 exposed: a page can carry a checkpoint
whose shadowed range fell outside the window, and nothing resolves
surfaceOp.start anymore.
Unify the /plan claimed hint with the plan placeholder through a locale
namespace, localize slash menu group titles, replace the PermissionSelect
native select with the Menu primitive, add a goal pause verb chain, clamp
anchored popups to the viewport with scroll-into-view and outside-dismiss,
and fix onPasteUpgrade insertedRange to account for the chip trailing gap.
PermissionSelect returns as the Access seat's wired occupant: options and
the current value read from the 'permissions' projection through the
standard-kit useProjection (no fetch, no mount timing — the resident
composer's mount-once fetch bug dies with the fetch), key absence renders
nothing (permission-less host, or a Draft with no session), and a pick
submits the '/permission <preset>' command line through the new
ComposerBarInjected.command callback (Session.command = command.execute
admission; the pushed projection frame lands the confirmed value). The
READONLY_OPTIONS placeholder and its local state leave InputBar.
The connection fixture mirrors the host: a permissions unit fold (three
knob events over the fixture preset table), the projections block +
baseline/push frames carry the key, and /permission joins the command
catalog with the same switch-through-knob-events handler shape.
The session.permissions/setPermission unary pair, the PermissionOption wire
DTO, the client Session wrappers, and the fixture/fake mirrors all leave the
wire: the read side moves to the 'permissions' session projection and the
write side moves to the /permission command in follow-up commits, so the
web protocol gains no permission methods at all.
The pendingSwitches + prompt-submit flush + hasOpenTurn move also goes.
Knob events no longer need turn enclosure: the persistence scanner keeps
standalone events after the last turn/end as part of the preserved prefix
(remove-synthetic-log-only-turns), none of the three knob invariants demand
an open turn, and the setters append bare events. An idle switch commits
immediately; hasOpenTurn stays a user-approval private fold (its audit pair
is the one contract that still requires enclosure).
The old PermissionSelect chip and its mount-time fetch die with the RPCs
(the resident composer broke the mount-once assumption); the projection-fed
replacement lands with the Access seat swap.
