`dsh` shipped two config trees that were 43 rows the same: apps/cli/cordis.yml
composed web as 74 flat rows, while the TUI booted examples/tui-agent/cordis.yml
whose single `@deepseek-ai/dsh-tui-demo` row mounted twelve plugins behind a
twenty-key pass-through Config. Neither file was what its location claimed —
apps/cli hardcoded the "example" as the product default and the "demo" bundle
was the application — and every capability change had to be made twice.
- apps/cli/base.cordis.yml holds the 43 shared rows; tui.cordis.yml and
web.cordis.yml are patch lists stating only what differs per surface
- overlays apply as SIBLING patch lists at one include level, because include
patches never cross an include boundary. Precedence: base < surface <
(--config | personal ~/.dsh/config.yaml) < launcher flag/profile patches
- `--config` now applies an overlay INSTEAD OF the personal one, so a demo or
test tree never inherits the user's route; new `--config-replace` boots a file
as the entire tree (the old `--config` behaviour). Both survive /resume
- vendor/include: index each `insert`ed row as it is added so a later patch can
configure or disable it. Upstream built the id index once before the patch
loop, leaving every surface-only row — the whole TUI front door — silently
unpatchable from user config. Logged as local modification 8
- session identity moves to dsh-agent-loop's CONFIGURED_AGENT_IDENTITIES_KEY;
dsh-tui's MAIN_SESSION_ID_KEY is deleted (only the bundle read it)
- delete examples/tui-agent, examples/cordis-agent, packages/examples/tui-demo;
TUI tests → apps/cli/tests, cordis e2e → packages/cordis/tool-cordis/tests,
examples/code-mode survives as an overlay leaf
- `dsh web` gains --config, threaded into AppCLIEntry as an extra overlay
Three latent defects surfaced and are fixed here: the TUI captured the optional
sessionQuery service once at construction and could permanently disable /resume
when it won the mount race; the session-store root silently reverted to a
project-local ./.sessions; --config-replace was dropped by the resume handoff.
Verified by booting each tree through the real Loader (TUI 55 entries, web 75,
zero unsettled) rather than reading YAML. All eight terminal snapshots replay
byte-identically; 14/14 PTY smoke, 112/112 snapshots, 25/25 doc-sync, hygiene
and lint clean.
Archive 21 implemented triplets whose shipped decisions are complete and
whose bodies no longer guide future work (one-off UI chrome, generator
applications whose scripts are self-explanatory, superseded implementation
detail, process history owned by current contracts/skills). Delete 4
rejected triplets whose premises are obsolete: the DeepReadonly proposal
(dev-invariants note now carries the alternative inline), the collapse
tool-owned presentation proposal (superseded by the shipped render-intent
union), retire-mid-turn-steering (steering is now load-bearing across
plan-mode/apiproxy/TUI), and single-session-ACP (automation-only ACP
resolved the question; multi-session isolation is pinned by tests).
Repair every inbound link: retarget intentional historical citations to
archived paths, replace decision-current citations with the surviving
authority, and fix the stale example-execute-over-tsx pointer in
pnpm-workspace.yaml. Re-record pairing sidecars and seal the archive
manifest (append-only; existing seals unchanged).
Consolidates the personal dsh-tui customizations (module split into
components/session/extension, prompt template + running-glyph indicator,
copyable transcript, tool-card headers, timing placement, XML tool output,
status/footer rework) and ports upstream's model reasoning-effort selector
(Shift+Tab effort cycling, effort-aware /model, footer, and /status) onto
the personal module layout.
Two review findings on the turndown swap, both verified empirically:
- Unclosed-tag nesting makes the synchronous turndown/domino walk
superlinear (measured: depth 512 ~0.15s, 2k ~2s, 20k ~5s), during
which the cooperative fetchTimeoutMs timer cannot fire. renderBody
now preflights nesting depth with a linear tag scan and passes
bodies past 512 levels through raw; the try/catch stays for markup
the scan cannot see (comment-hidden tags), simulated in tests via a
converter throw.
- Markdown escaping can expand converted HTML ~2x (100k underscores
render as 200k chars), so provider body caps no longer bounded the
model-visible result. formatFetchOutput now caps the complete output
(header + body + footer) under new fetchMaxOutputChars config
(default 200000 = 2x the local provider's default body cap), reusing
the truncation notice.
README EN+ZH, config catalog, Agent Note EN+ZH updated; the new
web-fetch fixture is migrated to the packed layout master now
requires; tool-web coverage stays 100% per-file.
- publint-all: the recursive publication view uses readdirSync
{recursive} again instead of globSync('**/*') — the glob skips
dot-prefixed segments (verified empirically), but npm pack publishes
dotfiles inside included directories, so hidden exports were
reported missing and other hidden files escaped validation
- markdown.ts/verify-type-equiv: markdownFences now reports whether a
closing delimiter terminates the block (mdast silently closes an
unterminated fence at EOF), and verify-type-equiv rejects unclosed
type-equivalence fences again — the Agent Note claimed such a block
still fails at the manifest checks, but its comparisons can succeed
- Agent Note EN+ZH: record the restored rejection; rewrite the zh
Problem section into past tense to match the English side's shipped
reality; pair re-recorded
Regenerate event-producer-consumer.md after the queued-frame steering removal;
re-record the bilingual consistency records the master merge left stale; and
restore the eight archived notes the agent-loop rename had swept up (archived
notes are frozen — their archival-time path references stand).
Implements the turndown Agent Note from the NIH dependency audit (full
variant, not the minimal entities-only fallback): dsh-tool-web's fetch
rendering now converts HTML through turndown + @joplin/turndown-plugin-gfm
(atx headings, fenced code, dash bullets, GFM tables/strikethrough) over
the real domino DOM, with script/style/noscript removed wholesale. The
hand-rolled ~86-line regex converter html.ts and its entity tables are
deleted; renderBody wraps the conversion in try/catch falling back to
the raw HTML body, because turndown's recursive DOM walk overflows with
a RangeError on pathological nesting (measured: 4k levels on the main
thread, 8k in a worker) where the regex version could never throw.
Closure weight, measured: tool-web IS in the single-exe runtime closure,
and the exe asset globs would pack ~7.9 MB of the three new packages —
but ~6 MB of that is domino's test corpus, with runtime lib/ at ~550 KB
against a ~174 MB artifact (<0.5% either way), so the swap wins.
Per testing policy the previously-missing keyless web_fetch snapshot
ships in the same change: the acp-agent `web-fetch` scenario boots a new
web.cordis.yml overlay (web seam + real dsh-web-fetch-local provider +
tool-web fetch-only + a loopback HTTP fixture server on a fixed port
serving deterministic HTML with entities, a GFM table, and nesting), so
recording and keyless replay both drive the real HTTP fetch and real
conversion end to end; the scenario pins the new `web` header class.
The Agent Note moves proposed -> implemented and is rewritten per the
lifecycle contract (Decision/Consequences/Testing, closure verdict and
alternatives recorded); tool-web and acp-agent READMEs updated in both
languages and pairs re-recorded.
Implements the gate-consolidation Agent Note from the NIH dependency audit:
- Shared markdownFences helper in scripts/markdown.ts (mdast code-node visit);
doc-typecheck and verify-type-equiv extract fences through it; md-fences.ts
and the duplicated extractEquivBlocks regex scanner are deleted;
markdownProseLines derives fenced lines from parsed code-node positions
instead of a second fence regex.
- publint-all.ts and verify-built-package-invariants.mjs parse argv with
node:util parseArgs instead of hand-stepped parseOptions copies.
- Five straggler readdirSync walks become globSync: verify-runtime-closure,
dev-web discoverPluginDirs, verify-package-paths realPackageNames,
verify-client-domain-graph listSources, publint-all addPath. The
dirent-diagnostic walks in check-workspace-constraints.ts and clean.ts stay.
Behavior parity verified: pnpm run doc-sync and every rewritten gate produce
byte-identical output before and after on this tree.
Moves the owning Agent Note proposed -> implemented and re-records its pair.
