git mv per the regrouping RFC: the five human-collaboration seams and
tui join packages/interaction/, app-boot becomes packages/boot/, and
jsonrpc joins the renamed scaffold/ (formerly sdk/) as its server half
beside client/protocol/create-sdk/helper/scripts/telemetry, whose
folders drop the legacy sdk- prefix. Three new group README triplets
replace the ui/ and sdk/ ones; tsconfig references/paths/globs,
knip keys, vitest globs, gate scripts, catalogs, docs, and the
lockfile follow. Adds the four settled FIXME rename markers
(dsh-sdk-server, dsh-sdk-telemetry, dsh-sdk-helper, dsh-sdk-scripts).
The scaffold folders diverge from their npm names until those renames
land, so tsconfig.base.json maps the three affected names explicitly
beside the group wildcard. Also repairs two pre-existing stale-path
classes the strengthened sweep surfaced: docs/web-styling.md's retired
web-ui host package and type-model spec fixture-literal joins.
app-boot's three Loader-composition specs time out at the default 5s
under full-suite parallel load on this filesystem (pre-existing;
pass isolated with --testTimeout=30000); interaction/scaffold/boot
suites otherwise green (687 passed).
git mv the 12 packages from session-persistence/, session-projection/,
session-title/, and telemetry/ into one session/ group per the
regrouping RFC; merge the four group READMEs into one bilingual
triplet; rewrite the group segment in tsconfig references (intra-group
references shorten to ../<pkg>), tsconfig.base.json paths/globs,
knip.json keys, vitest include, gate scripts, and authored doc/note
citations; regenerate module graph, doc graphs, catalogs, and the
lockfile importer keys. No npm names change.
Full unit suite: 8779 passed; the 18 reported failures reproduce as
env flakes (ambient-proxy IPv6 tunneling, watched-dir inotify
timeouts under parallel load) — each passes in isolation with
NO_PROXY set, matching their known pre-existing behavior on master.
The composer's single primary action now stops a running continuable
child: Session.cancel() routes a continuable address through
subagent.interrupt (ordinary sessions keep session.cancel; one-shot
addresses stay uncancellable), and InputBar switches the same Send button
to Stop while a continuable child runs. A running parent-offline child
keeps the default composer with disabled input so that Stop stays
reachable; the read-only takeover returns once it stops.

Invocation is an ordinary session.prompt again: the pre-step gesture
boundary makes it deterministic host-side for every front end, so the
dedicated RPC (handler, wire schema, error codes, client face, fixtures)
and ui-skill's claim machinery are net deletions. The menu keeps decision
21 exactly — a pick lands literal /name text — plus the user-only marker
from skill.list's modelInvocable flag.
The user-turn predicate (opensUserTurn) unifies the three parallel
consumers a new node kind silently missed — produced-files turn reset,
retry liveness, own-words force-scroll — so a skill invocation behaves as
the turn opener it is. The menu marker resolves through ctx.locale.bind
instead of a hand-rolled snapshot lookup; the dead legacy <skill> render
arm goes with the removal cut; command-over-skill name precedence is now
documented at the matchEnter seam; and the emptied replacement catalog
keeps the no-reload sentence, with the never-published residual recorded
in the Agent Note.
A user/message carrying the skill-invocation source materializes as its
own conversation node (name/args lifted off the source metadata, never
re-parsed from the body) and renders as a right-aligned bubble: the /name
chip plus the user's trailing text, with the injected <skill_content>
collapsed behind a disclosure. A record with an unreadable name degrades
to the injected-context row.
The chatFileMentions service (provided by ui-deliverables beside its
turn-tail entry, reached via ctx.get) resolves inline-code tokens in the
closing message against the turn's produced locations: exact path or
unique basename links, ambiguity and unknowns stay inert. MarkdownText
gains the optional fileMentions seam — settled renders only, never
inside anchors.
**A hand-declared route must not offer a reasoning effort.** The earlier
commit read the create card's missing control as drift and added one. It
is the other way round: such a model has no reasoning capability — pi-ai's
installed catalog is what supplies one, and it ships nothing under the
route — so `resolveModel` throws UNSUPPORTED_REASONING_EFFORT for every
model on it and the whole provider drops out of the picker. Verified
against the adapter, not inferred. The create card no longer offers it and
the editor withholds it on the directory's `declared` bit, which is the
real bug: that control has always been wrong for these routes.
**A blocked composer locked the way out of the block.** Reusing the
no-workspace inert posture disabled the model seat along with everything
else, so the bar asked for a model while preventing the one control that
picks one. A block now rides its own `blocked` owner prop: the textarea,
send, commands, plan seat, and access chip all lock, and the model seat
alone stays live.
**A Provider ID could derive an illegal credential reference.** The card
accepted a digit-leading id, whose derived `123_API_KEY` then failed at
the credential seam with a raw regular expression the user cannot act on.
The id must now start with a letter, and a test pins the relation between
the two rules rather than the regex.
