Extract model-command, questions, and resume sub-machines from the
~1600-line createTuiChat closure into src/chat/ factories that take
explicit dependency bundles (shared ChatChannelDeps/ChannelNotice).
Reorganize src/ so chat/ holds all chat-channel concerns (former input
and session/ files move under it); xml-tool-output moves to components/;
TuiRuntime/TuiResumeHost move to runtime.ts. index.ts drops 2067->~1530
lines. Behavior identical: 167 tests and all TUI snapshots pass unchanged.
The running status glyph clipped its cosine throb to a blank column below
STATUS_FADE_MIN_OPACITY, so each breath read as bold->dim->disappear rather
than bold->dim->bold. Remove the cutoff and the constant; the trough now
renders as the dimmest gray, giving a symmetric breathe. Turn-boundary
appear/disappear is unchanged (fade envelope and non-truecolor visible
threshold).
Two CI-only test failures on the personal TUI/skills stack:
- packages/ui/tui/tests/tui.spec.ts anchored the dark-palette test at
process.cwd(), which is not guaranteed under $HOME; on CI runners the
prompt rendered an absolute path instead of the `~/` abbreviation. Anchor
cwd under homedir() so the assertion is deterministic.
- examples/tui-agent/tests/tui-keyless-smoke.e2e.ts asserted stale
dsh-customize / dsh-upgrade skill descriptions. Sync the expectations to
the bundled SKILL.md frontmatter.
Consolidates the personal dsh-tui customizations (module split into
components/session/extension, prompt template + running-glyph indicator,
copyable transcript, tool-card headers, timing placement, XML tool output,
status/footer rework) and ports upstream's model reasoning-effort selector
(Shift+Tab effort cycling, effort-aware /model, footer, and /status) onto
the personal module layout.
Validate replay sidecars and cross-copy failure facts, make browser console tripwires and macOS temp paths deterministic, and wait for asynchronous TUI resume details. Keep the owning docs, translations, and generated catalog aligned.
Integrate the Commander adapter with master's headless rework (dsh -p now boots
through AppCLIEntry — the same cordis.yml composition as dsh web, web-observable
while it runs — via toFetchHandler(ctx.apiProxy)).
- headless.ts: keep master's AppCLIEntry-based body but take the adapter's
pre-parsed `task` (drop the re-added parseArgs). Old startHost path and the
now-deleted packages/host/runtime dependency are gone.
- remove the stale packages/host/runtime dir left on disk by master's deletion
(mirrors the earlier packages/ui/acp cleanup).
Remove the redundant dsh-tui-demo bin and the RESUME_SESSION_ID environment
variable, leaving dsh as the one terminal entrypoint.
The dsh-tui-demo package was a plugin (the TUI app bundle mounted by dsh's
config) plus a bin that booted a leaf cordis.yml — the same job `dsh [config]`
does. The bin, its ./bin export, its built-bin.e2e.ts, the tsdown bin entry,
and the now-unused dsh-app-boot dependency are removed; the package keeps its
plugin and invariant. demo:cordis, demo:code-mode, and the tui-agent and
cordis-agent keyless PTY smokes now launch through apps/cli/src/bin.ts with the
config as the positional argument. cli-demo/acp-demo/jsonrpc-demo keep their
bins (distinct surfaces).
RESUME_SESSION_ID was the only bridge from --resume into the shipped config;
--resume now provides the id on the boot context via ctx.provide(
RESUME_SESSION_ID_KEY, id), and the four configs read it as a bare identifier
through a quoted typeof-guarded !!js expression. The TUI resumeCommand fixtures
and docs move to `dsh --resume {session}`.
Agent Note and its Chinese pair updated; config-catalog regenerated.
The fake terminal retains earlier autocomplete frames, so the directory follow-up assertion could pass before the scoped lookup completed. Wait for the quoted file mention to be applied before submitting.
The master merge introduced a tui goal-restore test and the guard parent
README that still used the removed context/message event. Point both at
the coalesced plugin-sourced user/message.
- tui.spec: exercise a goal-sourced injected context card (labels by
source kind, not plugin name), closing the last uncovered branch in
tui/src/index.ts that the CI coverage gate caught.
- time-context.e2e / goal.e2e: filter injected context by source now
that it is a user/message (plugin/goal source), and count goal
continuation rounds by round>0 rather than event type.
Add a branded AgentMessageId assigned to each accepted send message and
returned from send/followup/steer/inject (was void). Rename the inbox
event payload InboxItemInfo to AgentMessage, carrying that id so a caller
can correlate a queued item with its enqueue/dequeue/discard events.
The FIFO-conservation invariant fired on the loop-authored continuation
reason path: a continue-with-reason decision entered the steering FIFO
without an agent/inbox/enqueue, so its later dequeue/discard had no
matching enqueue. Emit the enqueue for that steer too, add a regression
test that mounts the invariant over a continue-with-reason turn and a
cancel, and hoist the duplicated inboxInfo helper into inbox.ts.
Found by fresh-eye review.
Replace send/steer/inject with one Agent.send primitive over the
(target × wakeup) matrix; followup/steer/inject become fixed-preset
alias methods on the now-abstract Agent class. Coalesce context/message
into user/message (injected context is a non-user source). Replace
agent/queued with agent/inbox/enqueue/dequeue/discard, add cancel
keepInbox, and add a FIFO-conservation invariant.
The cwd-variants test asserted footer text right after setup()'s single
tick. On slow Windows runners the TUI has only written the color-scheme
query and hideCursor by then — no first frame — so the /opt assertion
failed (PR #498, windows coverage lane). Wait for each first-frame
assertion with vi.waitFor, the pattern 7fddeb446 and df38095a1 already
use in this file.
