fix(subagent): report resumable children as ready
...
list_agents called a storage-only continuable child 'complete', inviting
parents to poll it for a result that will never appear there. Rename the
status to 'ready' — resumable, not terminal — and rewrite the tool
description to say a parent is told when a child finishes, so listing is
for recall, not polling.

feat(subagent): deliver continuable child settlement to parents

A continuable child that stopped without reporting — an error, a token
ceiling, cancellation, teardown — left its parent nothing to act on.
The continuation manager now delivers an unconditional settlement
notice to the durable direct parent before releasing ownership, folding
consumed work (foldConsumedWork supersedes findLastMessageTurnEnd) so a
claimed-but-unrun prompt reads as aborted rather than completed, waking
an idle parent, steering a busy one, and never waking a closing tree.

A continuable child could finish without giving its parent a usable
result: the report tool was described as optional and its default
delivery stayed quiet. Install the child-scoped report obligation (tool
description plus the tool:report prompt section), default reportDelivery
to wakeup, bind shipped subagent_fork delegations to one-shot so fork
keeps its prefix reuse, and extend the ACP snapshot harness to pin child
system prompts alongside child tool schemas.

fix(subagent): pin delegated child approvals to 'never' within the inherited sandbox scope
...
A delegated in-process child now acts only within the sandbox scope fixed
at delegation: captureDelegatedPolicyOverrides still snapshots the parent's
explicit sandbox override but pins the child approval policy to 'never'
(instead of inheriting the parent's), so every child ask — sandbox_permissions
escalations included — is rejected deterministically by ApprovalService
before any answerer, with the audit pair still logged. Every in-process
child additionally receives the scoped subagent:delegation runtime-context
statement telling it to report a scope limitation instead of retrying.
Supersedes the approval half of the policy-inheritance decision (new Agent
Note cross-linked from both prior notes and the approval-seam Q&A); refreshed
child snapshot fixtures carry the pinned event, and
subagent-published-run-failure now persists a one-event child log.

feat(web): declare the remaining context forms on every shipped producer
...
Four values complete the vocabulary, so the opaque body is reached only by
producers that genuinely promise no shape.
`snapshot` — current state a later snapshot supersedes. system-prompt now
exposes `renderContextSections()`, the named contributions
`renderContextSnapshot()` already joins for the model, so the body attributes
each part to the subsystem that produced it instead of re-splitting joined
prose. The runtime snapshot, time-context, and tmux-context declare it.
`notice` — a one-off account of what just happened, declared by tool-tasks,
goal state changes, tool-goal wrap-up, plan-mode switches, and
repeat-tool-guard. Its `summary` rides the COLLAPSED row: these five are the
majority of shipped producers and none of them needs expanding to be read.
The task summary bounds itself because its inputs are unbounded caller text.
`relay` — a message another agent addressed to this one; both subagent
sources declare it and the body names the sender above what it said.
`recall` — material lifted from another session's log. session-reference
needed no new field: its references already record retained and omitted
counts and the truncation flag, which the body shows first, because recalled
context is bounded on the way in.
`ContextFormed` is now discriminated by `form`, so a producer cannot declare
a shape without the facts that shape is presented from — a notice without its
summary, or a snapshot without its sections, fails to compile.
Only the two hook bridges stay opaque, by design: their content is whatever
an external program printed, so no shape can be promised for it. Unknown
kinds and unreadable records land there too.

refactor(llm-deepseek)!: rename the provider route to deepseek-official
...
The native adapter's route was named deepseek, colliding with pi-ai's
catalog provider of the same name, so the two DeepSeek paths could never
be mounted side by side. The web settings page needs both configurable at
once. Compositions, fixtures, goldens, scaffolding defaults, and docs all
move together (pre-release, no shim); TUI/session-query-spill/
missing-credential goldens re-recorded through their keyless refresh
modes because provider-name length shifts box padding and spill
truncation points.

An omitted maxDepth meant unbounded recursion, and the shipped examples
shipped that default. maxDepth now defaults to 1; a numeric cap requires
the provider's depthLimit capability (the mount fails loud and points to
the explicit 'provider-managed' opt-out for out-of-process providers),
and a child AT the cap loses the delegating tool from its own schema via
the child toolFilter — prompt-face hiding on top of the execution-face
depth check. Examples pin maxDepth explicitly. The ACP snapshot harness
gains Scenario.childToolOmissions so a child session may legitimately
omit declared delegation tools from its pinned header and prompt;
affected subagent/workflow goldens are re-recorded.

test(acp): snapshot advanced toolchain flow

The executable golden proves the packaged VFS and Python SDK boundary, but it does not pin the editor-facing ACP updates, and the existing ACP scenarios exercised Code Mode, subagents, and workflows only as separate stories.
Add a dedicated both-mode replay composition that mounts a Cordis marker, inspects it through a real Code Mode worker dispatch, runs a direct spawn child and a workflow-owned spawn child, then unmounts the marker. Commit normalized ACP frames, parent and child logs, and the composition-specific request-header pin.
Use cordis_inspect as the Code Mode sub-dispatch instead of registering another dynamic tool: the executable snapshot already owns tool-set mutation and header-delta coverage, while this keeps the ACP header contract stable and focuses the new golden on transport presentation and cross-feature composition.
